Description

The 1791D-8B8P module integrates I/O circuits, a built-in power supply, and a DeviceNet™ I/O adapter into a compact unit, facilitating efficient installation in space-constrained environments. It provides 8 sinking inputs compatible with 24V DC IEC Type 3 sensors and 8 sourcing outputs capable of delivering up to 0.5 A each. The module supports autobaud detection, automatically matching the system baud rate for seamless network integration. Equipped with rotary node address switches, it simplifies network commissioning. The 1791D-8B8P is designed for use with PLC®, SLC™, or SoftLogix™ programmable controllers utilizing DeviceNet™ scanners, making it suitable for applications requiring distributed I/O blocks close to sensors and actuators.
