The 1746-A7 Series B chassis is part of Allen-Bradley's SLC 500 family, known for its modularity and versatility in industrial control systems. This 7-slot chassis accommodates a combination of processors, I/O modules, and communication adapters, allowing for tailored configurations to meet specific application requirements. Each slot is equipped with a backplane that facilitates communication and power distribution among installed modules. The chassis supports panel mounting and includes four mounting tabs for secure installation. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C and a relative humidity of 5% to 95% (non-condensing). The 1746-A7 Series B has been discontinued as of March 31, 2024, with no direct replacement announced.
