Allen-Bradley 1771-VHSC SER A High-Speed Counter Module

The 1771-VHSC module features four input channels configurable for various modes, including counter, encoder (X1 and X4), period/rate, and continuous/rate modes. It supports single-phase counter inputs up to 1 MHz and two-phase encoder inputs up to 250 kHz, accommodating a wide range of high-speed counting requirements. The module offers eight digital outputs, isolated in groups of two, with current-sourcing capabilities at 5 to 24V DC (2A maximum per output). Inputs can be single-ended or differential, with an input voltage range of 5 to 24V DC. Designed for seamless integration into the PLC-5® system, the 1771-VHSC operates with a backplane current draw of 650 mA and does not require an external power supply.
