It supports single-phase counter inputs up to 1 MHz and two-phase encoder inputs up to 250 kHz, accommodating a wide range of high-speed counting requirements. The module offers eight digital outputs, isolated in groups of two, with current-sourcing capabilities at 5 to 24V DC (2A maximum per output). Inputs can be single-ended or differential, with an input voltage range of 5 to 24V DC. Designed for seamless integration into the PLC-5® system, the 1771-VHSC operates with a backplane current draw of 650 mA and does not require an external power supply. Its compact design allows for efficient installation within control panels, making it suitable for applications requiring high-speed counting and precise frequency measurements.
