The 1746-NI8 Series A module is part of Allen-Bradley's SLC 500™ family, offering high-density analog input capabilities. The module supports input ranges of ±10V DC or ±20 mA, selectable via DIP switches on the circuit board. With a 16-bit resolution, it ensures accurate and reliable data acquisition. The module includes continuous auto-calibration to maintain measurement precision and features nine green LED status indicators—one for the module status and one for each input channel—to facilitate troubleshooting.
