Description

The S3T-S-B2 sensor operates using a polarized retro-reflective sensing method, effectively detecting objects by reflecting light off a reflector. It features a red LED light source with a wavelength of 660 nm, ensuring accurate detection of shiny or reflective surfaces. The sensor offers a sensing range of 0.1 to 2 meters when used with a standard reflector like the R2 model. Equipped with a sensitivity adjustment trimmer and stability LED indicator, it allows for easy setup and reliable performance. The sensor provides a PNP (sourcing) output and is designed with an M8 4-pole connector for straightforward electrical connection. Its IP66-rated ABS housing ensures durability and protection against dust and water, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
