The 42MRR-5000 Series B is part of the PHOTOSWITCH® Series 5000 modular photoelectric sensors, which consist of two main components: a photohead and a power base. This design allows for quick removal and replacement of the photohead without the need for rewiring or realignment, facilitating easy adaptation to changing application requirements. The 42MRR-5000 operates as a receiver in thru-beam sensing mode, requiring a separate emitter for proper functionality. It features an 880 nm infrared LED light source and offers a sensing range of 25.4 to 171 mm. The sensor is suitable for various industrial environments, providing reliable detection of objects within its specified range.
