Description
The Acro® 50 Vent Device by Pall Corporation is engineered to provide efficient sterile venting and gas filtration. It incorporates a hydrophobic PTFE membrane, ensuring broad chemical compatibility and preventing the passage of aqueous aerosols and liquids. The device's 50 mm diameter offers a large filtration area, facilitating high flow rates and greater throughput. Its robust polypropylene housing enhances durability, and the device is both reusable and autoclavable, supporting multiple sterilization cycles. Available with various inlet and outlet connectors, it accommodates diverse system configurations. Typical applications include venting bioreactors, fermentation tanks, and carboys, as well as filtering aggressive solvents and sterile gas purging of culture vessels.
