The G1379A features a 4-channel vacuum container equipped with tubular plastic membranes and a vacuum pump. When activated, the vacuum pump creates a partial vacuum, allowing dissolved gases to permeate through the membranes, effectively degassing the solvents. This process is crucial for maintaining baseline stability and detector sensitivity in HPLC applications.
