The Plas Labs 830-ABC glove box is engineered to provide a controlled atmosphere for weighing and handling sensitive materials. Its clear acrylic construction ensures high visibility of the interior, while the removable top section facilitates easy installation of equipment. The unit features four key cock valves for purging, two on the main body and two on the transfer chamber, allowing for effective gas purging. Adjustable stainless steel clamps compensate for normal wear, and the white ambidextrous Hypalon™ gloves offer superior chemical and UV resistance. A hospital-grade multiple electrical outlet strip (UL, CSA, and CE approved) is included, along with a small pressure relief "pop" valve to minimize glove "fightback." The transfer chamber measures 12 inches (305 mm) in length with an internal diameter of 11 inches (280 mm). The unit also includes a small replaceable HEPA and organic vapor canister filter.
