The DEW-10-2D1 utilizes a chilled mirror sensor to determine the dew point—the temperature at which water vapor condenses from the air. A solid-state heat pump cools a metallic mirror until condensation forms, with the mirror temperature continuously monitored by a platinum resistance thermometer (PRT). This method ensures accurate and stable dew point measurements, with an accuracy of ±0.5°C (±1.0°F). The transmitter offers a dew point range from -40°C to +58°C (-40°F to +136°F), making it suitable for energy management and process control applications. Maintenance is straightforward, involving periodic cleaning of the mirror and filter replacement to maintain optimal performance.
