Description

The 42SR-4001 Series B is part of Allen-Bradley's PHOTOSWITCH® line, known for its compact design and dependable performance. This sensor operates on a reflex (retroreflective) sensing mode, detecting objects by sensing the interruption of light reflected from a target. It features a visible red LED light source, facilitating easy alignment during installation. The sensor offers a sensing range of up to 3 meters (approximately 9.8 feet) when used with a standard reflector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30V DC and provides an NPN (sinking) output. The 42SR-4001 Series B is housed in a durable plastic enclosure with an IP67 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
