The MCS-165 sensor by Warner Electric uses a retroreflective photoelectric system to detect objects by interrupting a light beam that reflects off a target. When an object passes through the beam, the sensor is triggered, making it ideal for applications in conveyor systems, packaging lines, and material handling. Operating on a 110 VAC power supply, this sensor includes a DPDT relay output, which allows for versatile control. Housed in a durable, NEMA 12-rated plastic casing, the MCS-165 is built to withstand industrial environments. Its adjustable sensitivity and selectable light-activated/dark-activated modes add flexibility to adapt to different detection requirements, and LED indicators provide clear operational status.
