The 1785-L20B controller is part of the PLC-5 family, featuring 16K words of user memory and supporting up to 512 I/O points. It includes multiple communication ports: one fixed Data Highway Plus (DH+) port, one configurable DH+/Remote I/O port (adapter or scanner), and one serial port configurable for RS-232, RS-423, or RS-422A standards. This controller is suitable for various industrial applications, including process control, material handling, and manufacturing automation. It supports ladder logic programming and offers features like subroutines for recurring program sections, diagnostics, and discrete control. The 1785-L20B is compatible with 1771 I/O chassis and supports remote I/O configurations.
