Description

The Perkin Elmer 3110 is engineered to deliver accurate and reliable atomic absorption measurements. Its double-beam optical system ensures enhanced stability and precision. The spectrometer features quartz-coated, reflecting optics for optimal energy throughput and a high-dispersion monochromator coupled with a high-performance photomultiplier, ensuring solid analytical performance. The instrument accommodates various atomization techniques, including flame, graphite furnace, and mercury/hydride systems, allowing for flexible analysis based on sample requirements. The built-in microprocessor provides results in absorbance, emission, or concentration and allows the user to select the integration time, scale expansion, multiple calibration standards, and some basic statistics. The gas control system combines ease of operation with a full complement of safety features and interlocks. A large sample compartment accommodates either the standard dual option burner system, an HGA graphite furnace, or a mercury/hydride system.
