The SCXI-1163R features 32 normally open (Form A) solid-state relays, arranged into eight banks of four relays, each sharing a common pole. This configuration allows for efficient switching of high-voltage loads up to 240 VAC/VDC at 200 mA. The module provides optical isolation up to 300 Vrms between banks and from the SCXI chassis ground, ensuring protection against large common-mode voltages, ground loops, and voltage spikes. It is programmed serially over the SCXIbus, facilitating integration into existing SCXI systems without additional devices or cabling. The module can also operate in parallel mode when connected directly to a plug-in digital I/O device.
