The PowerMaster MG-54 is engineered for demanding industrial environments, offering robust construction and dependable operation. Its primary speed reduction is achieved through an industrial gearbox with a bronze worm gear in an oil bath, ensuring smooth and durable performance. The high starting torque motor is designed for continuous duty and is protected from overload by a current sensing or thermal overload device. The operator includes a heavy-duty, full-voltage, across-the-line magnetic reversing contactor, which is mechanically and electrically interlocked. Electrical components are housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure integral to the operator, with a transformer provided to reduce control voltage to 24 VAC. The system is wired for an open/close/stop control station and features positive chain-driven rotary limit switches to control full open and close travel of the door. A floor-level manual disconnect chain is included for emergency release and manual operation, with an electrical interlock switch to disable the control circuit during manual operation.
