The KFD2-SRA-Ex4 isolated barrier by PEPPERL+FUCHS is engineered to transmit digital signals from NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts located in hazardous zones to control systems in safe areas. It features a 24 V DC supply via Power Rail or terminal connections and supports both dry contact and NAMUR inputs. The device incorporates a 2:1 technology, reducing wiring requirements by 50%, and provides relay contact outputs for each channel. Additional functionalities include line fault detection (LFD) and a reversible mode of operation, enhancing system reliability and flexibility.
