It features a replaceable activated carbon filter composed of urethane foam and refined, high-absorption carbon, capable of removing up to 80% of odors from the air. The unit operates quietly at 44 dBA (measured at 2 meters) with an airflow rate of 37 cubic feet per minute. Constructed from non-sloughing static dissipative conductive material, the 493-10 is ESD-safe by design, making it suitable for sensitive electronic environments. Please note that the HAKKO 493-10 has been discontinued and replaced by the FA-400 model.
