The SRI986 positioner receives an electrical input signal (4-20 mA or 0-20 mA) and modulates the pneumatic output to adjust valve actuators accurately. It compensates for valve friction and external disturbances, ensuring precise valve positioning. Key features include independent adjustment of stroke range and zero, adjustable amplification and damping, and compatibility with both linear and rotary actuators. The device supports split-range operation and is suitable for supply pressures up to 6 bar (90 psi). Its robust design ensures low sensitivity to vibrations, and it offers explosion protection compliant with ATEX, FM, and CSA standards.
