Allen-Bradley SLC 500 1747-AIC DH-485 Link Coupler

The 1747-AIC Isolated Link Coupler facilitates the integration of SLC 500 processors and peripheral devices into a DH-485 network by offering electrical isolation between devices. This isolation helps protect equipment from electrical noise and potential damage, ensuring stable communication. The coupler supports connections to various devices, including SLC 5/01, 5/02, and 5/03 processors, as well as programming terminals and other DH-485 compatible equipment. It features multiple communication ports and is designed for easy installation, either on a DIN rail or panel mount. The 1747-AIC was discontinued on January 31, 2017, with the 1746-UIC USB to DH-485 Interface Converter recommended as a replacement.
