This sensor utilizes a polarized retroreflective sensing mode, effectively detecting objects at distances ranging from 50 mm to 4.87 m (approximately 2 inches to 16 feet) when used with a 76 mm (3-inch) reflector. The polarized design enhances detection accuracy by minimizing false triggers caused by shiny surfaces. The sensor's compact rectangular housing allows for versatile mounting options, and its robust construction ensures durability in demanding industrial environments.
