The AT-AM-2A Safety Module is engineered to monitor two-hand control systems, necessitating concurrent engagement of both actuating devices within a 500 ms timeframe to initiate machine operations. This mechanism prevents accidental or unintended machine starts, thereby safeguarding operators. The module features two redundant, forced-guided (mechanically linked) safety outputs rated at 4 A, and an auxiliary normally closed (N.C.) relay output rated at 0.5 A. It includes feedback input terminals for monitoring external machine control elements, enhancing system reliability. Four LED indicators provide clear status updates for Power, Input 1, Input 2, and Fault conditions. Designed for DIN-rail mounting, the AT-AM-2A operates on 115 V AC and is housed in a compact 45 mm-wide enclosure.
