Description

The Isotemp 281A vacuum oven features a stainless steel chamber with a capacity of 0.65 cubic feet (approximately 18.4 liters). It offers a temperature range from ambient to 280°C, with control sensitivity of ±1°C, ensuring accurate and consistent heating. The oven maintains a vacuum range from atmospheric pressure down to 30 inches of mercury (in.Hg), with a leak rate of less than 0.5 in.Hg per 24 hours, making it suitable for processes requiring reduced pressure or inert atmospheres. The unit includes two shelves and is equipped with a large glass panel front door for easy observation of samples during operation. Its exterior is constructed with baked epoxy enamel-coated 18-gauge steel, providing durability and chemical resistance.
