Description

This module converts AC or DC signals from devices such as proximity switches, limit switches, and pushbuttons into logic levels compatible with the PLC-5 system. It features input filtering to mitigate voltage transients caused by contact bounce or electrical noise, ensuring reliable signal processing. Each of the 16 input points is equipped with a status indicator LED for easy monitoring and troubleshooting. The module is compatible with 1771 I/O chassis, excluding the 1771-A1, 1771-A2, and 1771-A4 chassis. It requires a 10-terminal field wiring arm (cat. no. 1771-WA) for connections.
