The KBMG-212D, manufactured by KB Electronics, is designed to deliver efficient and reliable motor control. Its four-quadrant operation allows for forward and reverse torque in both speed directions, enabling the control to maintain constant speed with overhauling loads and providing rapid reversing and controlled braking. The drive features a filtered DC output, ensuring cooler motor operation, extended brush life, reduced audible noise, and a wider speed range. It operates with an input voltage of 115/230 VAC and offers an output voltage of 0-90/180 VDC, suitable for motors up to 0.75 HP at 90 VDC and 1.5 HP at 180 VDC. The KBMG-212D includes advanced features such as an Auto Inhibit® circuit for smooth starting, an overspeed protect circuit to prevent power bridge failure in extreme conditions, and LED indicators for power on and motor overload diagnostics. Its rugged extruded aluminum heatsink ensures enhanced heat transfer, providing a higher control rating while maintaining cooler running SCRs. The drive is compatible with optional accessories like the Auxiliary Heat Sink (P/N 9861) and the Bipolar Isolator (P/N 8832) for expanded functionality.
