Description

The FM-3 module is a compact, rugged function module that attaches to the front of compatible Emerson drives. It expands the drive's capabilities by offering eight additional digital input lines and four digital output lines, supplementing the existing I/O of the drive. This module allows users to set up to 55 different indexes, jog functions, and multiple homing routines, facilitating complex motion profiling. The FM-3 stores drive setup parameters internally, enabling easy transfer of configurations between drives. Its user-friendly interface includes a keypad and character display for straightforward navigation and parameter adjustment.
