Endress+Hauser Nivector FTC968 AC Level Switch

The Nivector FTC968 AC operates on a capacitive measuring principle, where the sensor face detects changes in dielectric values between air and bulk solids. When material contacts the sensor face, the electronics change the switching status, which is indicated by an LED. This two-wire AC version supports a wide voltage range from 21 to 253 V AC, allowing direct connection to miniature contactors, solenoid valves, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The device is designed for easy installation in confined spaces and is suitable for detecting materials with a minimum dielectric constant (DK) of 1.6. Additionally, the Nivector FTC968Z variant is certified for use in dust-explosive hazardous areas, Zone 20.
