The Altek 422 Thermocouple Calibrator is engineered to source and read thermocouples over the entire industrial temperature range. It supports 14 thermocouple types (J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N, G, C, D, P, L, U) and millivolt measurements, allowing for versatile application with transmitters, recorders, controllers, alarms, indicators, data acquisition, and computer systems. The device features a "Quik-Chek™" function that stores three output temperatures for each thermocouple type, facilitating rapid and repetitive calibrations. Users can select between 0.1° or 1° resolution, and the calibrator offers an accuracy of ±(0.008% of reading + 0.006 mV). Built-in cold junction compensation ensures accurate readings, and the device is protected against accidental connection to 120 Volts AC or DC in any mode.
