This accumulator functions as a hydraulic spring, utilizing system hydraulic fluid to compress nitrogen gas stored within. The gas and fluid are separated by a rubber bladder, ensuring efficient energy storage and release. When system pressure exceeds the pre-charge pressure, hydraulic fluid enters the accumulator, compressing the nitrogen gas. As system pressure decreases, the compressed gas expands, returning the stored fluid to the system. This design enhances system performance by mitigating pressure spikes and maintaining consistent pressure levels.
