Description

The 1745-PCC interface converter enables seamless data exchange between Allen-Bradley's SLC 100 and SLC 150 controllers and standard personal computers. It converts RS-422 signals from the SLC processor to RS-232-C signals compatible with PC serial ports, ensuring reliable communication. The converter also provides electrical isolation between the SLC processor and the PC's RS-232-C port, minimizing the risk of damage from electrical noise transients. Typically, the 1745-PCC connects to a 25-pin RS-232-C serial port on the PC; for PCs with 9-pin serial ports, an appropriate adapter cable is required.
